HubSpot released their Live Chat tool in 2018 to be used by all the users, both free and paid. An easy to set up and manage tool, it also provides the basic chatbot functionality to give a better experience to your online visitor and customer. 

The paid level of HubSpot tools gives you access to its more robust functionality, allowing you to customize and manage live chat and incoming inquiries in a perfect way.

1.Lightweight 

There is no denying the fact that HubSpot CRM is a great way for growing and expanding a business, but organizations that have large sales teams may feel that it is not an advanced enough tool to be used. 

2.Less Flexible 

As compared with other CRMs, the HubSpot platform is a bit less flexible. While there are features that you can customize according to you and your team’s needs, organizations with a complex sales process find it difficult to get the level of flexibility that they are looking for in the HubSpot CRM. 

3.Relatively New

In comparison to other major CRM software, HubSpot CRM is a relatively new tool. It still has a few limitations. However, updates are being made regularly, and HubSpot’s constant research and development have alleviated many former doubts about the platform. 

4.Third-Party Integrations 

Many product integrations only work with HubSpot marketing and are not compatible when it comes to its CRM. 

5.No Detail Level Security

Over a number of years, HubSpot CRM has improved its security a lot. You now can restrict a sales rep to see only their own accounts, and you can also control the user’s access to export data. 

But, security is still one of the significant limitations of HubSpot CRM. As long as you are a small company with transparency, this won’t be a substantial concern for you. But if transparency is a concern for your company, then you might find it challenging to carry out various operations smoothly with HubSpot CRM. 

Apart from this, there are no detail level restrictions. It generally is either all or nothing. For example, you cannot simply give account’s access to someone and choose not to show them the financial data or specific custom properties. If they can see the record, they can see everything.

No doubt, there are a few limitations, but these do not stop HubSpot CRM from falling into the list of best CRMs available.
